Following his stint at George Washington University, he embarked on international ethnological expeditions to the Caribbean and then to Puerto Rico. Returning to the United States in 1933, Mr. Hubbard launched his literary career. His work spanned all genres, and between 1934 and 1950, he was to author more than 200 novels, stories and screenplays.
